Default Is anyone else ticked off at Lifetime?

Is it me or every time Lifetime gets rerun rights to a new show, "The Golden Girls" gets pushed back later and later. I remember when it was on at 11 p.m. every night for years then all of sudden "Will & Grace" comes along and "GG" gets pushed back to midnight. Now "Frasier" is on and "GG" doesn't come on until 1 a.m. and then it's only on for a half-hour?? I know I can watch it at 6 p.m. for an hour, but I always enjoyed watching the show at night to relax after a hard day in my pajamas in bed. Bummer man.

I agree with you 100%....why are they pushing back Golden Girls? ...and, before they did it for (of all shows) The Nanny! I cannot tolerate FD's laugh... I want my GG back at 6:00PM and 11:00PM!

I guess since mostly all the DVDS are out they are trying to ease it out of the schedules

Don't complain, I think Lifetime is treating the show fairly. My sister is a fan of the show and I always wake up to the theme song in the morning, then I hear it again after school, and once for a last time at night.

I think GG is one of the most played shows on TV after "Roseanne," "Fresh Prince," and the "Simpsons".

I am also very angry at Lifetime. I miss watching the girls as I was falling asleep!!!

I hate that they change the schedule so much. I wish they would find one and stick to it!

The frequent schedule changes for the show on Lifetime is one of the main reasons I will be so very happy to have all of the episodes on DVD!!!

Keep in mind, everyone, that Lifetime usually does this when they bring a new show in... but then bring TGG back to the regular time. They have already moved Frasier from 11 to 12. I'm sure it will just be a matter of time.

Just get your DVD player working, get the DVDs, and enjoy those for right now.

Yeah, thank God for the DVDs. I only have season 1 and 2. I've been putting one in before I snuggle up in bed; however, I always wake up to the menu and an instrumental version of the theme song over and over. It's actually a nice way to wake up!

It would seem the "DVD" theory would hold some water here. Let's remember that Lifetime, like any other station is trying to make money here. So, as more of the show come out on DVD, the less people watch Lifetime. This causes the ad dollars to go down, and therefore life goes running scared...They end up putting on new shows in prime time slots. Eventually, you may not see the Golden Girls at all on Lifetime...Start buying the DVD's now!!

I really hope this never comes to pass, as I think it would be a HUGE mistake on Lifetime's part. The network has earned countless millions of dollars in ad revenue over the years from broadcasting the show... in fact, I'd dare to say TGG is responsible for making the network economically viable.

I have directv and I think it might be only in my area...Here in VA the GG is on at 9am, 11am, 6pm and 11pm. But sometimes GG will be on midnight or 1am in the morning.

I have all the episodes that they aired when they first showed them. But I really like the Golden Girls episdoes better then the Golden Palace. I only like the 2 episdoes that Bea was in.
