Although I normally don't watch "television for women" except for UM, I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I saw on Lifetime 10-15 years ago. It wasn't bad for a Lifetime movie; actually, I'm thinking it wasn't one of their in-house productions. The story was about a teenage girl who was on a softball team. The coach was a really quirky guy whom no one liked, but this one girl was nice to him, so he began stalking her. I remember that he would call her house late at night and hang up. Eventually he began following her places, breaking into her house etc. The cops always refused to arrest him since he wasn't technically breaking any laws. I think the story ended with the girl and her family going to court and getting a restraining order against him, and the passing of some legislation that criminalized stalking. I'm pretty sure the movie was based on a true story. I also want to say that the movie ended with the song "Every Breath You Take" by The Police playing over the closing credits, but I'm not sure. It would have been fitting though
![]() I'm sure this plot description could fit any number of Lifetime original movies, but if someone knows the title of this particular film it would be appreciated.
