Or does it seem that the writing actually got BETTER during this season (6)?
The season starts off with that great one hour episode and keeps getting better from there. Three's Company is definately one of those rare shows that actually seemed to get BETTER as it went on. I think Terri's character actually had some depth, not like her predecessors. |

i agree. i believe the characters evolved very well and the quality of the scripts/plots do not decrease over the season. i love how janet turns out...she changes a lot. i love terri more than chrissy...you're right, she has depth.

Couldn't agree more.... Season 6 is by far my fav, and the characters changed a lot too. Especially Janet in my opinion. I like her best in the later seasons. And, of course, Terri makes it better too IMO

I thought the writing was pretty good all through the series. Season 6 was a great year. If I would say which year was the worst, I'd probably pick season 8 because it seemed like the writers were running out of ideas for the characters by then.

Season 6 was great, as the show returned to the comedic heights of seasons 2 - 4 after a lackluster season 5. I don't think the show necessarily got better as it went on, though. While season 6 was one of the show's best seasons, seasons 7 and 8 were the worst years of the show, IMO.

The first six seasons were great, I thought. However, the last two seasons weren't up to par as the others. I felt the show changed gears in season 7 when they put more focus on Jack being a chef and running his own bistro. And from there, it just went all downhill, IMO.

I agree 100%. Season 6 is my favorite season. As TC went on throughout the years it did get better. In my opinion. The show had a lot of great writers who were really talented and they did a terrific job.
