I saw a movie a long time ago....maybe 1990 (give or take). All I remember is that it was a true story about a disc jockey who was murdered...I believe in his work's parking lot.

He was killed for his political beliefs (I think).

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Sounds familiar. And the guy's name is on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember exactly. Damn!
Was this guy a disc jockey in the 60's or 70's?

It could be the 70s. My memory is so vague on the movie. I think he was a shock jock and maybe a listener became obsessed with him.

My husband recalls a Jewish/racial storyline...the disc jockey may have been saying something bad about Jews. Or he was Jewish and was saying good stuff.

I don't remember anything.

It was called Talk Radio.

An acerbic radio talk show host based in Dallas starts what could be an important few days when he discovers that his controversial late night show is about to be "picked up" by a nationwide network of radio stations. However, all is not perfect for him, because on top of troubles with his love life and fears that the management of the network will try to alter the content of his show he has to cope with a neo-nazi group who have been angered by his forthright opinions.

It was made in 1988 by directer Oliver Stone.

I have to rent it. I remember nothing at all about it, only the fact that I really liked it. I sort of remember the murder part of it.
