Im currently getting overwelmed with trades and i get sidetracked at times to surf the web and do other things on my computer then burn non stop.. my computer is fast enough to burn over and over. but i think its time for a duplicator. i wanna spend at the most 500 plus whatever taxes are or less.. anywhere from a duplicator that burns 1 disc at once or burns 3 or whatever.. it doesnt matter as long as its the best quality reader and writer i can get no matter how many it does at that price or less.. whats the best brand? best place to buy it.. warrenty etc.. people that trade huge trades 50-hundreds of discs know what is good and what is garbage.. so could you please give me detailed info on what to get.. please write what you are using now or what you plan to get and why..
Thanks a lot.. |

NEC duplicators are the best bet
you can go to ebay and search for NEC DUPLICATORS and u will see a ton of options 1. i would consider getting a 3 target or even 5 target, that way u can burn 3 copies of same thing at same time, most are 16X speed right now and can burn the discs in under 8 mins 2. i would be sure that u buy from an established seller with good feedback and customer service #s that actually help u email the seller first and ask if they can give u an 800# to call and give them a ring and see how knowledgable they are megalynx is a solid distributor there are some good ones on ebay and u can get them for fair prices stay away from SONY dupers or asian assembled dupers that use sony drives as they have higher failure rates and other issues also check and see what the service policy is, i mean if they do repairs "in house" or have to send it elsewhere or what im sure others will chime in that is just my 2 cents worth

If you have $500.00 to spend I would buy the NEC brand like Lamont suggested. I would buy 2 1 target duplicators. It will get you through the sets quicker. Its nice to burn more than one set at a time but if it was me with $500 to spend I would get 2 1 target duplicators.

i mean id much rather spend 2-3 hundred but if i have to ill spend 5 hundred.. ok i just went on ebay.. give me your opinions on this person and this item...
http://cgi.ebay.com/3-Target-16X-DL-...QQcmdZViewItem also.. do i need hard drive and usb/firewire.. if soo what size hd do you recommend me to get?? i need one of these because once i get into a hobby. i get really sick in the head and gots to eventually have everything lol.. like lamont.. he is sick in the head. he probably has tv shows mary and joseph watched.. he has the birth of jesus on dvd.. lol and people that do like hundreds of disc trades.. thats where i wanna be. there is soo much good shows out there.. like music i have over 10,000 albums.. so just using my computer isnt working for me anymore.. i would realllllllllllllllly hate to be someone thats taking forever to do a trade.. those huge trades sound appealing to me. i like to be quick and with quality.. |

And once you get the duplicator you want, the most important thing after that is ....... don't try to run crappy, cheap media through it, you will get dud after dud. You can get top quality media online delivered just as cheap or cheaper than media you can buy in stores.

Yes, another plug for Megalynx
when the burner drive on my Dup died on me after 8 months of use , I just took it out (put in my own so I can still use the unit ) and shipped back the drive and they replaced with a newer model. The unit was still under warranty. They do have very good customer service. |

I sent an email to them and bought from them directly, saved about $20.00 when buying 2 at the same time. |
