Default Anyone buy the Season 5 DVD yet?

Got mine the other day from Amazon...so far I watched the first disc and a copule of episodes on the 2nd disc. Except for that little glitch on the Snow White episode (see my other post)...they all look great!!

Missing scenes intact...so far the final squares before the tag scene is intact.....

The quality looks nice and colorful (considering they were last season)....until they "insert" certain sections that were edited. Although I did notice the scene with Bobby & Cindy during "Never Too Young" where Cindy tells Bobby she knows about him and Milicent....it is a little blury for some reason.

All in all...so far another winner!! I really not concerned with extras personally.... I'm happy that I've finally got all of the Brady Bunch show on DVD!!

I picked up season five on the day it came out, and I'm overall happy with the great quality they used to restore the episodes with. The lack of bonus features was still a letdown, but I am happy to have the complete series now

Another quality set from Paramount except for the lack of extras. Season 5 was a very funny season with alot of memorable episodes, I don't see why a few people feel this Season was lacking? The quality on the discs are nice and the scenes that have been inserted back into the episodes look in more pristine condition then the last seasons but still noticeable.

Getting Greg's Goat is a classic episode. Robert Reed is very funny in this one.

Guys,

There are some great classics especially in the early part of the final season.

Peter and the Wolf is a GEM!!!! I also LOVE Getting Greg's Goat. Try, Try, Again is very good, I also like My Brother's Keeper.

I am going on record saying that I actually LIKE Out of This World! (An episode that TV Guy HATES!! hahahahaha) Does ANYONE else like that one or an I alone here on that one?

So many people hate Kelly's Kids because the Brady's aren't hardly in it, but it isn't as bad as people make it out to be

I hate Oliver like most of the rest of you!!! But I think Cindy's line is classic in "Welcome Aboard" when Mike's trying to get the other kids to include him in their activities. Oliver overhears the other kids calling him "jinx" and one of them says, "Wish he could have stayed with some other relatives." another says, (I think it's Greg,) "There's nothing we can do--we're stuck with him." Than cut to a new scene, and Mike says something like:

Mike: "I'm surprised at you, you've got poor Oliver shaken up."

Peter: "We didn't know he was listening Dad."

Cindy: "Or else we would have closed the window!!!" hahahahaha!!!

Classic!!!

I also got mine the day it came out, but watching it will have to wait because I haven't yet started watching seasons 3 and 4.

I've watched all the Season 5 episodes on DVD, and the final squares in all the episodes are there.

I think that happened during the Grand Canyon trilogy. Come to think of it, I think it was the other way around with the girls scaring the boys with said bear!
