Default Do you think James was outta line for reminding JJ about his...

12 cavities in the episode abt "the mural"? I mean, ok, that was an issue before. Kids will get cavities, they drink kool-aid, it's gonna happen. However, when Thelma needed the $200 for books for college, James said he would have the money had it not been for JJ's 12 cavaties.
James was at fault for not putting the money back in the savings acct. he set up for Thelma. Sure he dug into it when Flo needed her operation, but whose fault was that there? James! for thinking a $15 buck raise made him a millionaire. When James got the money back from the IRS in the black Jesus episode, he should have put that money back in Thelma's college fund. when they had that $35 left over, he should have put some of that back in the fund, rather than singing lessons. James for not saving properly and not putting the money back in Thelma's fund was PURE JAMES' FAULT!

I said it before and I will say it again, i saw nothing wrong with James going into the account so the family could survive, especially since he was the only one bringing money into the house-lol

Oh I agree with you, I have no problem with him going into the account, but for him to try and blame other reasons for the money not being there, especially since he frivously spent money rather than put it away for a rainy day, is what I won't ever change my mind abt. And if he was the only one bringing money into the house, that was his fault since his stupid pride wouldn't allow Flo to work and when Thelma had job offers he told her "NO!!"

I agree

Also how could he replace the money if he didn't have any money to replace it with. And 12 cavities are a lot, and to fill those cavities took a lot of money. So if I were James I would remind JJ as often as I could also LOL.

Still laugh everytime JJ says it: 12 Cavaties. I'm with Willona: What was he brushing with, a hot fudge sundae.

yeah, 12 cavities is a lot, I believe you have about 30 teeth in your mouth so that is almost half of them. Maybe he didn't go to the dentist regularly because of how expensive it is.

He did have the money, when the IRS gave him a refund. Instead of buying gifts, he should have put some or all that money back in the acct. Instead of telling Flo he kept some of that robbery money, he should have kept some for the future, and put some of that in the acct. He should have played pool, win $$$ and put some in the acct. When the family had $35 left over he should have put that in the acct. What was wrong with putting 50 cents a week or a dollar a month into the acct every month? They were NOT SO DAMN POOR that he couldn't put a dollar a month into the acct. This man complained abt money but when it was there he didn't THINK. He should have been on JJ more abt brushing his teeth. One could drink so much Kool-aid, but if he wasn't brushing his teeth, that was the cause of his cavities. Like it was said earlier, JJ SHOULD HAVE BRUSHED HIS TEETH. Damn!!!

Thumbs down

He was WAY too harsh! James wouldn't have treated Thelma or Michael that way.

No he wouldn't have. He was easier on them two. J.J. probably ended up the way he did because of James nagging on him and so forth.
