Default The Apartment Building?

I am becoming a large fan of this sitcom, so therefore I pay much attention to sitcom locations like many of the sitcoms I am a fan of.

On a certain site, it claims the Green Cabrini projects are being demolished. Does that mean every floor or building, or do some remain? I hoped some from at least the opening credits might be standing.

If anyone can help, or inform me of if any of the projects are still standing, please do so.

Here is the site, if anyone can actually make much sense of it.

It sounds like all of the buildings are being torn down, or already are torn down.

Kind of sad though, they were landmarks in a way.

LOL-I remember seeing the photo of that building on the Jeffersons board. It looked smaller than I remember from the show.

That's because the cameraman stood right in front of the building and aimed upward-lol Remember they never showed a camera shot of that building from a distance.

TVResearcher,
I was wodering if you could help with this question;
I see the shots of what is supposed to be the building in the opening credits.It does not show any rooms protruding from the building.When you look at the layout of the apartment,the hallway where the bathroom and the master bedroom are extend further than the living room window.

the layout on the show doesn't match the actual projects. As a matter of fact, the show would reference so many stories, floors, etc. when in fact, the real building maybe only had 8 i believe.

There usually is always an inconsistency between the look of the House or Building on the opening credits and how the inside looks on the set.
