Default Favorite Openings

these are the little 1-2 minute segments that usually have nothing to do with the storyline of the show, but add a lot to the show itself.
One of my favs.is from "Switch Sitters" when Doug asks Carrie where the scissors are and she goes into a big speech.
Another one would be "King Pong" when Doug and Carrie are on the couch and Doug won't let Carrie get up because he is comfortable in the position they are in.that goes out the window when his hot pocket needs to be rotated.

Carrie"I have been a tour guide in my own kitchen long enough."

Carrie:"Once again your underpants have me against the ropes!"

I know you all have your own favs.Let's hear 'em.

I love the one where Doug and Carrie are caught outside in the rain, they are trying to get the keys to open the door, meanwhile Arthur is sitting inside listening "Crazy kids"

And the one from "Prints Charming" where Doug keeps talking with the scary voice Carrie hates, he goes outside and calls her from his cell and uses the voice, so Carrie locks the door, and leaves the phone on..

i love yours too jp,

Carrie: "What would you do if I died? would you just sit here and soil yourself? or would you..HUH!! remember where something is?"

I found this opening hilarious and was saddened that it was cut out in syndication. Its on "Assaulted Nuts" I believe and Arthur is calling to Douglas asking him where "The Naked Channel" is and meanwhile Carrie is trying to get some work done. I thought it was hilarious

Arthur: What channels the naked channel

Doug: We don't get the naked channel

Arthur: Yes we do, we were watching it last night

Doug: That was Nightline

One of my all time favorites

Others - (don't remember the titles of the eps)

-- The one where Doug keeps calling home from work to get the phone messages and he asks Arthur to quit picking up the phone and to let the answering machine get it, but Arthur can't stop answering it, thus costing Doug his change every time he dials from the pay phone.

-- The one where Doug shocks Carrie when they're sitting on the couch (unintentionally) but then gets up to go to bed and shocks her intentionally by sneaking up behind her and touching her cheek. They then try to shock each other but to no avail. (Carrie: OUCH!....You rotten bastard! Why'd you do that?)

I love the one where they try to shock eachother too! I just remembered one of my favs.......During a thunderstorm, Doug says to Carrie "It's nasty outside, you wanna get nasty in here?" She turns him down, then the lights blow out, Carrie tells him to get the flashlight....he's looking for it and when lightening strikes you can see him holding her thong....he ends up lighting a candle, and eventually burning himself.....
