Default Prisoner of Love episode

Do you all like this episode? I love TAGS, but this episode drives me crazy! It's not funny and it's quite boring.

It's the ep where that lady prisoner "woos" Andy and Barney. They act all goofy and smitten and can barely think the entire episode. The ep is full of sappy music and goo-goo eyes. Not one bit of comedy in the ep.

Am I alone here?

On the flip side (to end on a positive), "A Date for Gomer" has got to be one of the funniest eps. Well, I love Gomer Pyle so any ep with him is great for me...but, this one is too funny.

it not one of my favorites, but its alright. There are a few I dislike worse than it. When Howard goes on that trip is one of those.

Agreed. I also hated that ep where Howard got his own "swinging singles bachelor pad" toward the end of the series.

End of the series? So, that ep is post-Barney? Once Barney left, TAGS didn't exhist for me. It's just not funny without him, IMO.

I hated every Howard ep, but that one was the worst of them all. I won't watch any rerun that has Howard Spragg in it - but yeah - sucked big time!!

Agreed! Only a couple after he left weren't too horrible, but they just weren't the same. I'm sure the show wouldn't have lasted if it weren't for the great Don Knotts!

Other than a mere handful of color episodes, I have to agree with you. I think even Andy Griffith would too-lol
