Out of The Shadows

If you have the time, please check out this site and send it to those you know. The Out of the Shadows campaign, headed by Amy Lee, is all about informing people about Epilepsy and "bringing it out of the shadows." It is a disease people do not know much about yet it affects so many people.

Just take a few moments and check it out, send an ecard to those you know, whatever you can do. Every little bit helps

Could a Moderator sticky this please? It's very important to me.

I have epilepsy so have been to this website before. I think she's doing a wonderful thing! We need the word out about this!

In this area, hardly anyone knows about epilepsy. It's sad. Even when I had my first one, I had no idea what a seizure was. I actually wrote an email to my local news stationa few weeks ago about raising awarenes in my area and they were very interested in doing a little story on it, so we'll see how that goes
