I was hoping some UM fans could clarify this for me. I distinctly remember watching a segment where a Vietnam vet was searching for the nurse who helped him recover from being wounded. She even wrote a letter to the man's wife explaining what his injuries were, so she wouldn't be suprised. I do remember a reunion between the vet, his wife, and the nurse.
But I keep thinking there were two different segments with the same type of story. One segment had the vet presenting the nurse with a plaque of some sort while the other one didn't? Am I thinking of just one segment or are there two, based on a similar series of events? |

Quote:
Both stories aired during the 1989-90 season, but they aired several months apart. Both cases were solved soon after they first aired. Sadly, the amputee died in 1999. |
