Default Favorite Episodes

I'm doing a research project on various rural TV shows and I was looking for some input. I have a list of some favorite episodes culled from fan sites and interviews and I need to find the funniest and/or most compelling scenes from these episodes. Also, I may have missed some great episodes in my research, so if you notice a glaring omission, please include the same info. My project and I thank you.

Episodes:
Californy, Here We Come (#1)
Kate's Dress (#3)
Little Luke's Education (#19)
Grampa Learns About Teenagers (#41)

The pilot, "Californy, Here We Come," is pretty hard to top.

One of my favorites was "The Actor." The scenes with Walter Brennan and Hans Conried are terrific.

I also enjoyed "Where There's A Will." The ending scene is nicely done.

Californy and You Cant Always Be A Hero are 2 of my favorites. I only have season 1 with season 2 on its way

The show was just so consistently good through the Fifth Season, except for the Fourth Season episodes where Kate was missing, that I would find it very difficult to narrow my favorites down to just a few. Like most shows, the early episodes are probably the best anyway.

"Grampa goes down the primrose path."

Luke and Granpa have the 4h club girls and their den mother over to look at the farm. The den mother thinks Grampa is so witty so asked Luke about Granpa. Granma died 18 years ago. Amos/Grampa thinks the den mother has the hots for Granpa. He goes over to see the younger woman and finds the young woman has arranged a date for HER mother with Amos. I laugh so hard. It was so funny!
