this is for the knowledgable...
i just opened up season 4. the first episode is when jessica wakes up. where is the episode where she goes to heaven and is greeted by bea arthur?? according to imdb.com, bea arthur is listed in the 10/28/80 episode. by looking at the imdb episode listing, it does not date or include this episode. it lists the first episode of season 4 as the one that has jessica wake up from her coma, as the dvd shows. i look at tv.com and in it's listings, the last episode for season three is listed as #69 with #70 as the episode where she wakes up. this is wrong. i know that the episode exists. best i can recall, it was a 90 minute episode, which is even shown on the opening of the first episode of the dvd with jessica in heaven. can anybody tell me why the bea arthur episode is not only not included on the season 4 dvd, but also why it appears the episode guides are ignoring it's existance? |

I believe "Jessica's Wonderful Life" was considered a special. I wish Sony would have included it with the DVD release. You can buy a videotape with that episode from amazon.com.

i was very dissapointed that they didnt include the two 90-minute (actually 72, and 74 minutes) retrospective "specials" as extras on the season sets - especially if they weren't going to give us ANY other extras after season 1 pissed:

I agree, and feel cheated. I have both those specials on vhs that I purchased some years ago.

i thought there was more than one longer episode like that as i watched them and felt lost.
i feel cheated too. i realize that one (or both) might be considered a "special", but i consider it part of the show as it furthered the ongoing stories. that's not an extra or a special to me. a documentary is a special. but to continue the story, is part of the story. |
