ABC schedule changes; Hope and Faith to Tuesdays; Alias to Wednesdays and more!

The Emmy Award-winning spy drama, “Alias,” returns to the ABC primetime schedule with a two-hour event on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), and will air in its regular time period thereafter on WEDNESDAYS (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).

Jennifer Garner stars in her Golden Globe Award-winning role as CIA agent Sydney Bristow in this non-stop thrill ride through espionage, adventure and heart-wrenching drama. The electrifying return event includes the birth of Sydney’s baby and reappearance of Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan).

Upcoming episodes will reveal the outcome of Sloane’s unholy alliance in his search for the cure for daughter Nadia (Mia Maestro) and the endgame of the Rambaldi prophecy. Other familiar faces from the past will crop up in Sydney’s life - for better or worse -- including best friend Will Tippin (Bradley Cooper), mother Irina Derevko (Lena Olin), and nemeses Julian Sark (David Anders) and Anna Espinosa (Gina Torres). The series, which is filmed in Los Angeles and premiered on September 30, 2001, is from Touchstone Television.

Additionally, the epic, four-hour ABC Premiere Event, “The Ten Commandments,” will air in two parts, MONDAY, APRIL 10 & TUESDAY, APRIL 11 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET, both nights). “The Ten Commandments,” which is from Hallmark Entertainment, is a truly inspiring motion picture event. Shot on location in Ouarzazate, Morocco with a stellar international cast, it unfolds with all the spectacle, human drama and grand inspiration that has earned its stature as the greatest story ever told.

The cast features Dougray Scott (“Ever After,” ABC/Hallmark’s “Arabian Nights”) as Moses, Naveen Andrews (“Lost,” “Bride and Prejudice”) as Menerith, Omar Sharif (“Doctor Zhivago,” “Lawrence of Arabia”) as Jethro, , Linus Roache (“The Chronicles of Riddick”) as Aaron, Mia Maestro (“Alias”) as Zipporah and Padma Lakshmi (“Sharpe’s Challenge,” “Mistress of Spices”) as Princess Bithia.

Robert Dornhelm (“Anne Frank,” USA Network’s “Spartacus,” “Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story”) directs the script by Ron Hutchinson (“The Island of Dr. Moreau,” ”Traffic”). Robert Halmi, Sr. is the executive producer. “The Ten Commandments” is a production of Hallmark Entertainment.

Editors please note: “Hope & Faith” returns on a new night, TUESDAY, MARCH 21 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET), “What About Brian” moves to MONDAYS beginning APRIL 17 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) with a special premiere SUNDAY, APRIL 16 (10:01 - 11:00 p.m. ET), and “Invasion” returns to the schedule on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET).

Wow. Nice to see ABC bringing back Hope & Faith, finally premiering What About Brian (I might watch it; I forgot that it was coming on in March, whoops, lol), and bringing back Invasion and Alias.

With ABC ending four of its sitcoms in april (Rodney, George Lopez, Freddie, Son's & Daughters) we will only have two airing (According To Jim, Hope & Faith) They definately need to bring back Less Than Perfect. Put It on Fridays 8 & 8:30 or atleast 8 and have crumbs follow it...

This would be the best schedule...

George and Freddie are all-new until April 12, so they will just finish their runs early. All the episodes will air for both.

BTW: What is happening to Fridays? Is AFV airing all the way through May... and what about In Justice? It'll be done with it's 13 episode order by the end of the month.

AFV encores are until further notice at 8. In Justice's 13 episode run ends after the March 31 airing. So who knows what they will add there, if anything new. It is possible that Crumbs/Less than Perfect can take that slot (or Rodney), but I doubt it.

Ive been wondering what is with ABC lately, they keep changing there schedule all the time, don't commit to shows (crumbs), and have been falling into 4th on many nights in the ratings....did they let last year go to there head, ??? ABC was my favorite network but I have to say they suck lately...
