Miss Goody Two Shoes. I can understand the fear of having a gun in the house, but in the ghetto where they are always saying how dangerous it is etc. it got real annoying to hear her say that abt the gun right after she said that other statement.

Michael mentioned it when he came home. Because his fear that with James' temper, he might, crazy as it sounds, use it somehow.

Yeah, i know. But Michael was referring to anything that might set off James, like the guy who assaulted Thelma outside, or James getting pissed at someone, anyone. He wasn't referring to anyone breaking into the apt.

But using a GUN would have landed him in jail. Now if someone had invaded the home and then he used the gun he wouldn't have been in any trouble.

And James would have never gone to jail. It would have taken a week for the cops to get there and by that time they would have forgotten all about the shooting LOL

Exactly. They would have gone to the Bevins apt. and reported they found the bicycle they reported stolen.

I couldn't understand the location of the gun. James is trying to protect his family, but the gun is all the way in the living room, in the closet. A burgular is robbing you blind and you can't even retrieve your piece because it's out in the other room, with the burgular. LOL
