I dont really see anything really bad in there, have you updated and run your antivirus program?

the problem may simply be that something happened during the installation of the Yahoo Messenger - you should probably uninstall Yahoo Messenger completely, clear out all your temp files, then redownload and reinstall the new version and see if it changes anything
