Default New in Superman 2 RIC Version - Ultra rare!!

This is a must for any Superman fan. It is like gold dust, WB made it availible for download years ago, but quickly withdrew it. It is on 2 discs with extras. You can find out more about it here - http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/articles/1839.asp

Default This might be it

This may be the same as the tv one. It has the extended scenes, as well as extras on a seperate disc. If your interested in it let me know. I'd be happy to trade.

WB never made this available. In fact they've shut down tons of sites because of it. It's an unofficial fan creation that came out last year..

Read more about it here:
http://www.supermanhomepage.com/movi...up2-RIC-review

All of the other sites, such as the site runs by the RIC II project members, all to be be gone at this point, forced down by WB. This is the only one left, and it's been gutted: http://supermancinema.co.uk/superman...ic/default.asp

But we can thank these people, as it was their movement, and the overwhelming support by Superman fans (not to mention all the people who wanted the DVDs!), that has caused WB to give in and release their own restored cuts (sometime in 2006 or 2007). Not to mention shown that Superman has a lot of support, hence releases like Superboy, Adventures of Superman and continued releases of Lois & Clark.

The RIC project is NOT a single showing, but rather a compilation from many sources and various versions of the Superman II movie. It's far superior to any "extended" cut out there. But it's still missing a ton of footage... footage that WB should be restoring in their official release, having been previously unreleased in any format.

Wow, you know your stuff lordsmurf. I stand corrected. Thanks for the info. It really is a work of art, good to know now where exactly it came from.

The "extended version" of Superman III is the one they almost always use to show on tv. It fits perfectly into a 3-hour broadcast slot (with commercials).

Superman IV had a lot of extended footage too, though from what I know, a lot of it went unfinished during shooting (not cut in editing like the others). Something about a first clone gone bad, a Bizarro Superman.

All of this is supposed to be restored, be it re-inserted into the movie or as bonus materials, in the 14-disc set that is to be released. "THE" place to learn about Superman online is http://www.supermanhomepage.com
