Default As a Tribute to the Great Actor Don Knotts, state your Memorable Furley Moments

One of my Funniest Furley moments was when he and the girls was waiting to get inside jack's Bistro and jack was taking so long to open the door and Mr. furley was getting cold and said-"OPEN THE DAMM DOOR!!!!!-lol One of my favorites. And his Fainting was always very comical

That's one of my favorites as well.

I think my very favorite is when he hits Jack in the face with the flowers in "Dying to Meet You". No matter how many times I see that, I always laugh.

Another one of my favorites is in "Macho Man" when he comes running into the apartment screaming "HURRY UP!! HURRY UP!!!". I remember the first time I saw that I laughed so hard.

I'm sure there is more but these are my top favorites that I can think of right now.

-Paradise Lost: I love the scene in the kitchen where Furley and Larry
are getting drunk.

-Chrissy's Hospitality: He's in the livingroom and he's listening to Jack
and Chrissy arguing about the shower curtain and he thinks their having or
about to have sex. lmao!

The episode where Jack hosts a sunday brunch at his bistro and Mr. Furley
is supposed to be the wine steward. He gets drunk, starts a fight with Felipe by telling him how to cook.

Reverend Gilmore: This man is inebriated!
Furley: I am not. *he smiles* I am bombed.

Dying to meet you- I loved how he just hit jack in the face. I mean Don's face never broke character. As for the others they all had to cover up a laugh. He was good.....

The episode where he and Janet had lunch at the restaurant where Jack was working, the way he ordered French food with an English pronunciation was so funny. "I'll have some of these escargots. The soup dujour and mouse line sole." I always loved that scene.

Also, anytime he had something to drink that he really couldn't handle, but he always said "smoooth" That cracked me up everytime. Don Knotts was great on this show.

It's a toss up for me. I LOVE the "Open the Damn door!" speech and when he hits Jack with the flowers in "Dying to Meet You". Another moment I love is when Mr. Furley is putting a new window in at the kids apartment and Terri says, "Drop everything and come with me!" So he drops the glass and breaks it, then yells "DAMN!" before Terri pulls him away! Stapling the wallpaper up at Jack's Bistro was pretty funny too.

"I NEVER TOUCHED THAT GIRL!!!!!!!!!! When Jack told Mr. Furley "You just ruined that girl" in reference to Mr. Furley having bought the entire cosmetic package that Chrissy was selling. Mr. Furley wanted to get her outta the apt. so he and Larry and Jack could continue playing "Strip Poker" LMAO. I love that episode and especially when he says that part!!!!!

Remember "Eyewitness Blues?" Furley trying to wake up the undercover cop, and his interactions with the robber were really funny. Also in "Macho Man," he and Jack were exchanging a conversation without moving their lips. I also liked "Urban Plowboy," where Furley rolls in the hay with Cindy's Aunt Becky.

That was a great one!!!! Especially when Furley said he was an expert on French cuisine!

I liked Mr. Furley's scenes with Lana. And how he always thought she liked him! Poor Mr. Furley!

I LOVE the one where Jack was trying to find a name for his Bistro and RF suggested "Froggy's"... that was great There are many more, but that's all I can think of off hand.

Wow, there are so many! I guess my faves would have to be in "Dying to Meet You" hehe.
One of my faves is also when he gets mistaken for 'soliciting' in the Regal Beagle!

Or when he's trying to fix the lock on the door and he says:
Furley:A heard of elephants couldn't get through there!
(Cindy busts in)
Jack:Well?
Furley: Don't see any elephants do ya?

And of course, "Double Trouble"
Furley: (slurred) It's okay Jack. He apologized.

Man, too many to even think about! My parents say I do a GREAT impression of him doing "Smooth".
