In the episode of Roseanne, Someday My Prince Will Come, Prince Carlos comes to see Jackie. Does anything ever come of this? Or was this guy a one episode character?

I think he was in two episodes? (probably three if you count a tag scene) If memory serves, Jackie eventually reads in a tabloid that the Prince had cheated on her, and I think the relationship ended there.

Until reading it online, I never noticed that Prince Carlos was played by Jim Varney a.k.a. "Ernest P. Worrel". (Ernest goes to Camp, Saves Christmas, etc) It was such a different character from what he played in the past..."know wut I mean?"

well actualy he wasnt cheating on her, he had went to one side of his castle that he had never been before, and saw a worker of his, and he fell in love with her, it was in the tabloid that he had married her i think but cheating close enough

I always thought it was funny that Jim Varney was cast to play a European prince!
