Default It miffed the hell outta me when Raj just assumed...

that his father and his fiancee would want to get married in HIS MOTHER'S HOUSE. Sitcoms always want to have weddings at someone's house, usually the house that is shown in the series. I just don't get why he would think that would be a good idea. He had to get a look from his mother before he realized how stupid that was.

Also, there wasn't very many people at that wedding. If you count Mabel, Shirley, Rerun and Dwayne that's four people already there, and it seems there were four people attending. Not very many family and friends. Do you think it's because it was at Mabel's house?

I was surprised Mabel made herself look so pathetic by letting her ex get married to another in her own home. One of the low points of the Mabel character in this show

I know she was trying to remain peaceful with her ex, but pleeeeeeze, that is going overboard. And I wonder why they had to get married that following Saturday? Seems rushed to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mabel had a problem with her character because they always had her looking so foolish. Like in Tonight's ep, She is being used by a nice looking guy just so she can help him get a good grade.

that episode makes Mabel (the character) seem desperate. It would have been nice to see her on a real date and have Dee be pissed abt it.

This bugged the hell out of me too. That was a slap in the face to Mabel. Bill should have had more class than that. But, Mabel didn't mind, and the fiancee didn't seem like a bad woman, and didn't want to inconvient Mabel. So it worked out in the end.

The fiancee I've seen in lots of roles on tv and movies in the 70s and early 80s. Her name is Lee Chamberlain, she was in "Uptown Saturday Night" Let's Do It Again", and she made a guest appearance on 'Diff'rent Strokes"

I hate it when sitcoms have weddings in the house. What happened to a dang church?!?

Yeah I know, that was just too much excitement from Raj. Mabel was a better woman than me because there's no chance in hell that I would let my ex get married in my house.
