in my web design class we're doing a project called "mate a movie," where you have to mix two movies together and recreate the poster.
examples: http://www.mercer.k12.pa.us/fusion/p....php?photo=768 http://www.mercer.k12.pa.us/fusion/p....php?photo=810 any ideas? |

For those too young to know, John Wayne was the most famous movie cowboy ever. One of his best films was, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon.
I'm thinking of a takeoff of that with Brokeback Mountain. She wore a yellow ribbon on Brokeback Mountain. Maybe using the big phrase in the movie, "God, I wish I knew how to quit you!" Something like that. I'm not creative enough, but something tells me there's something funny there. |

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace & Menace II Society The 40 Year Old Virgin & The Virgin Suicides Boogie Nights and A Midsummer Night's Dream Fried Green Tomatoes & The Green Mile 8 Mile & The Green Mile The Crying Game & He Got Game Donnie Brasco & Donnie Darko My First Mister & Mister Roberts Trading Places & Places in the Heart Saving Private Ryan & Saving Silverman Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory & Chocolat The Full Monty & Full Metal Jacket Any of those worth trying? |

Most of these are pretty lame, I know, but I can't seem to stop thinking of possible combinations...
American Beauty and the Beast The Lion King of Comedy The Princess Bride of Chucky The Breakfast at Tiffany's Club The Man Who Would Be King Kong Four Brothers Grimm Raging Bull Durham Rosemary's Million Dollar Baby Singin' in the Rain, Man There's Something About Mary Poppins |
