Talking What turns you on/off in the opposite sex?

Things that turn me on in a guy:

sweet, sensitive personality
caring attitude towards others
great sense of humor
similar interests
similar beliefs
has a steady job
is kind to animals
is physically active (I couldn't date a couch potato, I'm sorry.)

Things that turn me off in a guy:

rude, selfish, inconsiderate attitude
poor hygeine
poor table manners
facial hair
long hair
no job and no interest in getting one
doesn't like to do anything besides sitting and watching TV

And she has to be intelligent, too. I like a girl who knows what's going on in the world, and who is on the same 'level' as me.
About the looks: not too thin, not too thick. She doesn't have to be real slim, but also not *too* 'full'. I especially like red/'orange' hair. I'd like it if she was the same lenght as me.

Things that turn me off in a gal:

facial hair (logical, lol)
Also, I can't stand indifference towards what's going on in the world/current events/politics. Opinions, I want opinions! Also a real turnoff is a girl who behaves too 'manly': drinking beer right from the bottle, smoking shag instead of cigarettes, having 'manly' interests, like sports/cars etc., 'cause I don't have them either.
Real skinny girls or real fat girls I don't like. I'm sorry. Wait, I'm not sorry, I'm just not going to be hypocritical about it. Real short hair doesn't look good on a girl too, I think.

For a gal, obviously, the facial hair is a turnoff. Also, really tall women are turnoffs. At 6'1", I don't have to worry all that much.

As for turn ons, kindness, intelligence, and a great body. Also, someone who could tolerate my personality is also a plus.

My turn-ons for a guy:
-nice
-empathic
-accepts me for who I am (and I likewise for him)
-non-judgemental (if he doesn't judge me, then I don't judge him)
-humor
-good hygiene

My turnoffs for a guy:
-A guy who's more than six years younger than me (I have that issue since I am in my 20s)
-A guy who's VERY older in age than me (I don't do the whole May-December romance)
-Ignorant
-Macho
-Uncaring
-Poor hygiene

Turn Ons

Great sense of humor-- this is probably #1 on my list. I like a guy who is carefree and can laugh at himself and also crack me up. I like people who do stupid, random **** for fun.

Kindness to people and animals-- I don't like petty people in general. A good dose of sarcasm is nice, but when someone has an apparent mean streak and treats people and animals like crap, I'm going far, far away.

Common interests-- it would be nice if we had the same tastes in music, movies, etc. It's not a must, but it's nice to have something to converse about.

Smart, but not overly intelligent-- I'm not much in to the guys who feel the need to shove their knowledge of things in my face. To me, it's very intimidating and I consider myself a well-read person.

That's pretty much it....Looks wise...well, I like a guy who is tall, definitely. Smells nice, wears clean clothes...otherwise, I'm not picky. Oh, and dark hair and light eyes is really hot

Turn Offs

Party animals-- sorry, I don't do the whole club scene. I do drink once in a while, but I'm really a homebody. And I like guys who are too...don't get me wrong-- I love FUN guys who drink once in a while and may even smoke. But when it's all the time...no.

Narrow-minded-- must be fairly open to new things and experiences. I hate when someone is so set in their ways and feels the need to shove their beliefs down my throat. It's annoying.

Short guys-- since I'm so short myself, I prefer a taller guy.

Overly macho

Facial hair

That's pretty much it

I figure if the guy can/is willing to put up with my mood swings, irrational thinking, my weirdness, and the like, he's A+. Cuz I have never been normal.

other things:

nice hair. when I was in high school, I had a thing for blonds. now I'd prefer a brunette. AND NO LONG HAIR. I'm the only one in the relationship with any length to the hair.
nice wardrobe. fine if your job is the grungy clothes type, but don't wear that everywhere.
excellent hygeine. I'm a germaphobe....so you better be clean and sanitary.
this isn't from personal experience, but instead watching a friend go through this: help around the house and with the kids! her fiance doesn't take care of their new baby very much, comes home from work and doesn't help do anything, instead is content in sitting and reading comics. That's just no. This is also your baby...this is also your house. Please help me.
overall a sweetheart and very caring and will actually listen to me.
taller than me. which isn't hard...I'm only 5'4".
sense of humor.

things:
smoker. ewwwwww. won't tolerate that ****.
heavy drinker. sorry...you come home drunk, you sleep on the lawn. and I'm not cleaning up your puke because you were too stupid to moderate your booze intake.
druggies.
morons. if you have no common sense, look elsewhere. I have a tolerance problem toward people who don't think.
egomaniacs.
devout catholic. and I don't care how biased that sounds.
sex maniac.
partier.
someone who foolishly spends money on ****...and then has the nerve to ask me for money. yeah right.
anyone who would be stupid enough to badmouth me for my depression/anxiety problems instead of trying to understand. hell has a special place for guys like that.
I actually prefer to do the cleaning myself, because you probably don't do it the way I think it should be done....but I am not your maid. put your own clothes away, clean up after yourself in the bathroom, etc.

But like D.J. says, it's just not easy when you got a girl who is a lot shorter or taller. It's difficult when it comes to kissing.

I HATE cowardly men.

Also men who lie and you know that they're lying.

I HATE bald men like Bruce Willis (UGH)

Funky smelling men

Drunken men or drug addicts

Men who have long toe nails and nails (Ugh)

Turn Ons/What I like:
- Tall guys. I'm 5'1, so most guys are going to be taller than me, but really like it when they're around 9 or 10 inches.

- Protective guys (not jealous or OVERprotective). I like a guy who I know will stick up for me and come to my rescue if someone or something's bothering me, or if I'm just having a bad day.

- Country/Outdoors-ish men. I don't want a mountain man or anything, but I find something attractive about a guy who can survive in the woods. However, I want him to also be able to clean up and be presentable to the rest of the world if he needs to.

- Guys who remember the little things.

- Guys who are good with children. Nothing is more adorable to me than to see a young guy who sincerely enjoys the company of small children or just younger kids in general.

- Guys with good hair and strong facial features (jawbone, cheekbones, that kind of stuff). Think Johnny Depp, if you will.

Turn Offs/What I Hate:
- Self centered guys. Nothing annoys me more than a guy who is more interested in making sure I know all about him before he even thinks about me.

- Ignorant, redneck guys. Country and redneck are two entirely different things, and I cannot stand redneck guys. They usually possess every bad trait about men (bad hygiene, arrogant, ignorant)

- Close minded guys.

- Guys who refuse to stand up for what's right. To me, being able to stand for what they feel and know is right, is what makes any guy a true man.

- Guys who will not compromise or who are so selfish that they will not give up a moment of their time for you. It bothers me so much to see girls always having to make the extra effort for their guys. It should work both ways.

I thought it sounded that way too after I read it, but I'm really not that picky or needy. I just pretty much listed what I liked about the boyfriend I have now, because he seems to be the best I've ever had, and if I had to find another one, I would probably look for one with similar traits.
