Default Songs that you thought were sung by the opposite race........

I thought Rick Astley's Together Forever and Never Gonna Give You Up were song by a Black singer.

I thought that I Just Called to Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder was sung by a White singer.

"Ode To Billy Joe" by Bobbi Gentry.

She was white - I thought she was black.

I thought the guy who sings on Santana's version of Black Magic Woman and Evil Ways (Gregg Rolie) was black, until I found out he was a member of Journey.

I thought Darryl Hall and John Oates were black.

KC of KC and the Sunshine Band I thought was black.

Thought Michael McDonald was black.

Even though it said Average White Band, I still thought they were black.

Lisa Standsfield, I thought she was black.

I thought "I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz was sung by a black woman. I saw the video, and I found out a white blond woman sang the song.

I thought, "I Can dream About You, by Dan Hartman was sung by a white man, and I saw the video, and i saw a black man with some Blackup singers singing(I said "Blackups" on purpose)

I thought, that the part that goes, "Pop, pop, pop muzic" in Pop Muzic was sang by a Black Haitian woman. Then I watched the video and found out that it was two white girls singing the song.

Dan Hartman was white.
The seldom seen alternate version of I Can Dream About You

Dan Hartman videos are always hard to find, specially videos in those he appears, this version of the video is much more rare seen because in the other one, the movie version, has only scenes from the movie "Street's of Fire" and it looks like The Sorrells perform this song, but no, that's only a playback, the real voice it belongs to Dan Hartman who released this awesome track in 1984 for the soundtrack of this classic 80's movie
