Default Marcus

What happened to the actor who played Marcus? Last time I saw him, he was on a PBS special about Hot Dogs.

The only way to know how many shows Ernest Harden Jr was in is to to www.tvtome.com and count his appearances in seasons 4, 5 and 6. Basically he replaced Lionel during the interim when neither Evans actor was on the show (although he debuted while Damon was still in it- the last Damon Evans episode is the one where Marcus pretends to be Lionel). He only appears in one show in season 6 (Joltin George). The first time that actor appeared on the show it was as a similar character with a different name in the third season.

Didn't Marcus play another character in the episode when Robert Gulliamue guest starred in when George Vans were ripped off?

That was Ernest Thomas. Ernest Harden is in an episode towards the end of season 3 in which George commits to do some kind of community work to get an award, then when he doesn't get the award he doesn't want to be bothered.

I never cared for Marcus. He seemed ******** to me.

I know what you mean about Marcus being ********-lol His character was the same way on Good Times. I don't know why his character was played that way. He was worst on Good times, he was tripping over sh*t and falling down. Just can't figure it out.

I don't think Ernest Harden is a method actor. On imdb.com he is listed as having been in only 7 episodes, but they didn't list The Blackout, so he was in at least 8 shows as Marcus.

He looked even more crazy when he was supposed angry and was telling off Louise and George because he considered them snobbish

What episode is that? After a while George and Louise were snobbish. To me once Louise went to work at the Help Center she had become a snob.
