Default Anybody Record Last Nights Ladies Short program?

Hello! did anybody record last nights Olympics ladies short program? I could use the one part that features the 29 year old woman who skates an older style of skating. I cannot remember her name off hand But she was placed out of the top ten.

I didn't, but Sasha Cohon fell twice on her free skate just a few minutes ago. The Japanese women, Fumie Suguri and Shizuka Arakawa are currently in first and third place.

Irina Slutskaya has yet to skate.

I don't know how someone can fall twice and still get silver. I was really happy for Shizuka Arakawa she was so graceful.

Congratulations to the three medalists. One is left to wonder how well Michelle Kwan would have done had she been able to compete.

Whoa, I would have tried to fake a better expression if I were Sasha. She probably didn't mean for it to turn out like that, but whoops. Irena is almost as glum looking too.

Good question about Kwan. I wonder myself.

Shucks, I honestly don't know who you are talking about. I missed some of the short program. And sorry, I don't have it recorded. Is there some way to catch the performances online...?

Here is another picture of the three of them perhaps in a better mood.

Okay, that's a good picture. I didn't think the first picture could have been their expressions the whole time. It was just kind of interesting that shot caught them looking a little less cheery. I did watch all three on the podium too, and they looked fine.

This is off topic, but does anyone else hate those metals? They are so big and chintzy looking.

Have any of you ever written a letter to a figure skater? I did. Shortly after Sarah Hughes won the gold medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics, I wrote a congratulatory letter to her care of the U.S. skating federation. In my letter, I asked if she could be kind enough to send me an autographed picture of herself. She did finally send me one over three years later in May 2005.

I agree... I wonder who designed them. They look like thick CDs.

I never have. That's cool you got an autographed picture... but that's a longer wait than I would have expected! I probably would have given up hope after over 3 years.

I also received an autograph from Sarah. She went on tour shortly after winning the gold in 2002, and I sent her the cover of a magazine she was on, to one of the venues where she was performing. I received it back signed a couple months later. She and her sister seem like such great people.
