Default The disappearance of Laurie Forman

I was watching my season 3 set, I have only started watching this show for about a year now, but what happened to Laurie? She like left in the middle of season 3, Kelso catches her cheating on him, but we don't see her, and that's it. What happened to her? I know the actress left, but what happened to the character? I thought it was a very funny character.

lisa robin kelly who played laurie was sadly dealing with some drug problems at that time and was let go midway though season 3 she did return for a few eps in season 5 but left again for what the producers said were undisclosed reasons im one of lisa robin kellys biggest fans so its always nice to meet someone else who likes her too

So what episode in season 3 said she moved to Chicago? Or did they reveal that in season 4?

christina moore played Laurie #2 in season 6 so the official disappearance didn't really happen until after christina left. I think her last episode was when donna is getting cold feet before the wedding, laurie actually has a good 1 liner in this episode..
"Your feeling normal Donna. A lot of guys I'm dating were nervous too but now they're all happily married!"
So Laurie hasn't been on the show since the start of season 7 and I doubt we'll see her for the remaining final episodes.

Yeah i hear the "drug issues" excuse too. But something tells me there is more to it than that. She is a damn good actress. No one can play Laurie better then Lisa Robin Kelly.

i second third and fourth everything you said about lisa monar c i also think there was more to her leaving then what was reported in the press but whatever the reason the show lost something when she left they tried replacements and clones but ther is only one lisa robin kelly

I was a little surprised that Laurie was not in the final episode of T7S. The only mention of her was at the New Year's Eve party, when Kitty asks "Does anyone know where Laurie is?" and no one responded!
