Most of them all are full length versions. If they are syndicated (?) versions, the company usually puts it on the back of the box.

I always assume DVDs are the original full length version of the show... I look to see if they say "extended european" or something like that, as sometimes they have longer eps for overseas where there are fewer, and in some cases no, commercials.

In the words of Mike Brady "caveat emptor" which means buyer beware. I think "Dad" Brady would tell you its your responsibility as the consumer to do your homework and know what you are buying before you buy it. (which Greg famously didn't do when buying that used car!!!) He would probably tell you to read the whole box (front, back, side panels etc.) before making a purchase. Of course I would never personally give you a big speech like that, it's not my style. Gotta go now. Time for a family meeting

You need to learn to spell or type and punctuate a little bit before posting. Unless writing in jibberish is your way of trying to be funny. It's not, just annoying.

If it's a show I'm buying and spending my money on than I sure as hell want the full length versions. If a show is out that's not on TV anymore than I will buy syndicated cuts but only used or on ebay. I recently only bought Alf season 1 and I wanted to see that show for awhile. I bought it really cheap on ebay. I would never pay retail for a cut set. If it's a show I've never seen before and aren't spending anything to see it I couldn't care less. A friend recently lent me her Too Close for Comfort Season 1 to watch and I was glad it was cut so they eps were shorter. I never saw the show and don't plan on buying it.
