I'm not talking bad language as in words that have to be censored on this board. I'm talking about bad language as in economically disadvantaged for poor, African-American for black, shower activity for rain, having a negative cash flow position for losing money, gaming for gambling, and my favorite, controlled flight into terrain for plane crash. (What was 9/11, a series of initiative-driven controlled flights into architecture?

And no one ever dies anymore. They pass away, have a terminal episode, have a negative patient-care outcome (i.e., die in the hospital), or expire like a magazine subscription.

I got to admit, when I first saw this thread I thought this was a spoof on my thread about kids using bad language.

I understand what you are talking about Steve M., I have notcied that too, but I cant think of any examples.

Expired is more of a Medical term. It does seem odd for ordinary folks to use the term. I would just say died or passed away. I wouldn't say people are using bad words ( I thought you meant foul language) but odd words.
