How do ya'll think the show would have been if it was FLORIDA's character who was killed off instead of James?

if Florida's character would have been killed off, I personally think it would have had a worse affect than James's character. It definitely would have wrapped up after the 4th season in my opinion.

It would have been better in my opinion because u would have still had those classic J.J/James moments

That would have been the true test to see if James could carry the show without Florida.

I think the show would have survived another season or two without Florida. However, if JJ was killed off, the show wouldn't have lasted another season.

I'm not sure about that. You may be right, though, depending on the popularity of the J.J. character at the time. (I didn't start watching until the 80s-lol) If they did kill of JJ, they would probably have needed another outlandish/or at least SEMI-over the top character to offset the serious situations in the Evans household. Bookman perhaps?
