I ran over and killed two squirrels last summer. Don't think my car can handle hitting a deer. I'd probably be knocked down the side of the mountain and killed because I have a small car.

I know how you feel. I hit a deer not too long ago. I wouldn't have minded it so much but it knocked out the headlamp so I couldn't drive it(it also made some nasty dents as well). The poor thing was still alive(the deer, not the car ) after I hit it and tried to get up but it couldn't. Luckily some hunters driving by stopped and put it out of its misery. So I am kind of kind of thankful for those hunters that stopped but also kind of pissed off at hunters because my wife said she saw the trademark orange clothing of some hunters walking through the woods that the deer came barreling out of, so I don't know if they were tracking it or not, but after I hit it those hunters were nowhere to be found.

Not necessarily. My car is pretty small(Saturn Ion) and despite hitting that deer(and it was a big one) at 55 mph the car held up pretty well.

Now if you have a Yugo or something...

lol nope, no Yugo. It's a Chevy Cobalt, but I still don't think I'd be able to handle it. Our roads are so narrow and winding as they go up and down the mountainside and deer here are beasts..

Whew...... I've been close to hitting those deer but luckily I've braked and no one was behind me. Whew.....

I also hit a small squirrel and let me tell you i was depressed about it the whole day.

If i ever hit a deer one day I probably will have to be bought to Bellevue.

Agreed.

There are no deer roaming the 101 and 405 freeways in SoCal, so I've never experienced this before. But one time while driving on the side streets, I ran over a dead squirrel (it was dead WAY before I got there) and I cried and felt bad the entire day, even though it was already dead. It was sad.

Red face

You hate beer?? You mustn't say that!! Beer is our FRIEND. It's nutritious, delicious like a cold, fizzy cup of coffee that mellows you out after a long, hard day. It goes great with pizza. If you hated beer, then you would put all those poor Belgian monks out of work. It's part of the Augsburger Confession of 1215, It is a Crime Against Christian Love to make a bad batch of Beer. Beer is God's gift to all men and womenkind (to be enjoyed responsibly, of course). Dark beer is actually proven to be healthy for you. THANK THE LORD FOR BEER!!!!

Oh.......DEER!!!! Never mind.
