It premired on ABC in the 1978-1979 season. The Neilson Ratings For THen Were:

1. "Laverne and Shirley"- ABC
2. "Three's Company"- ABC
3: "Mork and Mindy-Happy Days"*- ABC

*They were tied!

Nope. It went into syndication in the fall of 1982, after having been cancelled by ABC due to low ratings.
