Well, I remember a few years back when my FOX station reran episodes of the series around 2:00 AM, and Charlotte Rae had black hair! I found it to be kind of funny, as FOL was on USA at the time, and I would watch it...and then compare her hair!

-and I'm not sure if either of those hair-colors was her natural color.
I too was surprised to even see Charlotte Rae in Car 54.I guess I had forgotten she was a semi-regular. ------------------ Richard Ranke |

Something you "Facts Of Life" and "Car 54, Where Are You?" fans might find interesting about Charlotte Rae is that she originated the role of "Mammy Yokum" in the Broadway musical version of "Li'l Abner" back in 1956 (when the musical was made into a film in 1959, Billie Hayes {"Witchiepoo" on "H.R. Puffinstuff"} played Mammy.)
