JUST in a GREAT 12 disc set of HELLO LARRY
the flop show with McClean Stevenson this show is hard to find and hasnt aired in years this set has 33 of the 35 episodes It is missing episodes #11 Larry's Bad Back and #13 My Sister, The Criminal if you have those 2 let me know!!!! it also features ALL OF THE CROSSOVER episodes with DIFFRENT STROKES!!! some episodes are from network airings, some are from the Late Nite reruns and a few are from brazilian tv (They ARE in ENGLISH, but have spanish subtitles at the bottom of screen) each disc has menus to pick out the episodes, the set is 7-8 of 10 quality and is very good! Also I got in 5 episodes of THE $1.98 BEAUTY CONTEST the bizarre show from CHUCK BARRIS, all 5 on 1 dvd with menus, 7 of 10 quality

No it wasn;t a spinoff the two shows just crossed over in 1979 and 1980 to boost the ratings for Hello Larry. I thought it was a spinoff also but the two shows just crossovered. |

TRUE it was NOT a true spinoff in the real sense of the word
BUT most tv books STILL list it as such they did several crossover episodes and the story was that MR DRUMMOND and LARRY were old pals and that Drummond also OWNED the radio station where larry worked i loved it in the later episodes when McClean had sort of longer hair, he looked like one of those old guys trying to be young the show was pretty cheezy, but i actually liked it i watched 5 eps last night and laughed and laughed

I would be interested in the NBC eps of Hello Larry but I know you don;t have the time to sort through each episode and see which ones are original airings |
