Question Have you ever had a teacher make you cry during class?

Today i was the lucky kid who cryed in mrs.penis...i mean pena's class today because i was on the wrong part of www.funbrain.com .

Here's the story:

I was done with my assiment and had nothing else to do. I heard her tell one kid to go to funbrain so i went. I though we could do whatever so i read the comics. She looks over at my computer and we have the following conversation:

Penis: "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!/1"
me: :"I'm through and I'm on funbrain. I heard you tell Jimmy to go there so i thought thats what we were suposed to do."
Penis: "NO! YOU DIDN'T ASK MEEE! I could write you up!"
me: "I'm sorry I didn't know"
Penis: "Your NOT sorry and you did too know!!"
me: *starting to cry and ignores her*
Penis: "* anouncing to class* THE NEXT PERSON I SEE NOT DOING WHAT THEIR SUPOSSED TO WILL BE WRITEN UP!!!1"
Me: *lays head on desk and crys for the rest of the hour while teh almighty sarahpuff comforts her*

pissed:

any one else gone through this horrible expirence?

I've never been brought to tears by a teacher, but I have had a few doozies over the years who should definitely had chosen another profession. I do believe that for every one bad apple teacher out there, there are about one thousand wonderful teachers who love their jobs and are dedicated to their students.

One thing to remember: Teachers ARE human beings too and have emotions and problems of their own. Maybe your teacher is having problems in her personal life and it's affecting her professional life. Has she always been like this or is this behavior sudden? I remember a teacher I had who was always so nice suddenly turing mean and we later found out her husband had terminal cancer

Of course, some people are just complete jerks.

This has never happened to me. Any teacher who acts like a jerk to me, will get the business right back from me. Consequences? Who needs them...

lol my third grade class got yelled at every day for refusing to shut the hell up and listen to the teacher, and we made her cry twice during the year. she had her head on her desk and was sobbing like crazy..now that i'm older and have worked in a preschool i feel for her, but it's funny to think about.

only time i've ever cried in class was last year when my friend died. i had teachers who flatout tormented me in middle school, one of whom i'd gotten the nerve to talk back to with an equally nasty attitude (and suspended me once for being mean to her lol), but in the earlier years i was too shy to say anything and somehow managed to hold my feelings in. i know a lot of the anger they caused me still dwells within me today because i didn't release it then, which i know can't be done until i tell them in their faces how much i hate them and what they did to me in the long run.

I don't remember any of the specifics, but I went to Catholic school for years, and those nuns could be very cruel. Most of us cried at one time or another.

In 2nd grade, I didn't know how to do a worksheet and I asked the teacher for help. She said no to do it myself. I still didn't know how to do it. Then it was story time and she let every one else go listen while I stayed at my desk to do the sheet. I just gave up and started crying. She got up and told me if I was gonna go cry, to go to the lav and do it. So I just ran outta the room and to the bathroom. My sis came down a few minutes later after my teacher told her I got upset over a paper. The paper didn't upset me, she did! I never forgot that day..

No but last year my english teacher made two kids cry. It was actually pretty hilarious.

We made a substitute teacher cry in 8th grade once.

I've gotten tears in my eyes, but never actually cried. It's not that a teacher's ever done anything really bad to me, I'm just extremely sensitive. It's pathetic.
