Did anyone else know that Jenny Gago (Abuela Moreno) was born in 1953- only 23 years older than Freddie? Couldn't they have made her an aunt instead of grandmother? While they've talked about Freddie's bro Joe having been fatally hit by a bus (which is why his flaky widow Allison lives with Freddie's family), why haven't they ever said what happened to Freddie, Joe and their sister's parents?

Hmmm... You're right. They never did show the 1st episode so maybe it's explained there?
