Default Who here watched the original ZOOM from the 70's on PBS?

I loved this show. It's right up there with Electric Company. I had no idea where to put this topic, so I just put it here. They brought the show back on PBS in the 90's and lasted for a good while until it finally got cancelled for financial reasons and low ratings. The original show was fun. It had different kids each season. Some were annoying, but the others were so cool to watch.

Does anyone know if they have the original show on DVD?

I remember Zoom from over 30 years ago, from 1973-74, around there.

I remember that show. For some reason, me and my brothers would always sing the theme song when we would play on the swings.
"We're going to zoom zoom zoom-a zoom, we're going to zoom-a zoom-a zoom-a zoom."
Ah well, I guess it's better than singing the Barney theme song.

Sure I watched the original Zoom.

Remember the language game Ubbi dubbi?

And didn't they also show home made movies that kids did, some of them with cardboard paper frame by frame motion?

And whoever watched it never forgot the address:

Just send it to Zoom, Box 350 Boston Mass

O.. 2.. 1.. 3..4

I wasn't around in the 70s, but the new version was crap.

What's with dressing 12-13 year olds like pre-schoolers?

The only game I remember from ZOOM was where they had to open a stick of bubble gum, wrapper and all, while wearing oversized boxing gloves.

I remember Zoom and those striped shirts. I had a book about the show too. I guess it would be a collector's item today?? I was more into The Electric Company. We would watch EC everyday on a black and white TV in the afternoon during the first grade. I would go home and watch the same episode that evening IN COLOR.

Does anybody body remember Hodge Podge Lodge with some lady called Miss Jean somebody?? I forget the name.
