Part 2...but it wasn't from 1982. I think it was '86. I think the first one is just lame. The second one is a riot, mostly because of Bill Moseley. He completely made the movie.

The original. The remake is also good.

The original is classic. Pure mayhem.

I liked part 2 as well, it had it's moments, especially Dennis Hopper.

To continue my post from this morning:

Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 tried to turn Leatherface into a hulking Jason Vorhees like killing machine, adn that was not a good idea.

Now "Return of Texas Chainsaw Massacre" tried to copy the creepy family vibe of the original, but it still wasn't that great.

If anything, it's worth watching because it stars Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConehy before they hit it big.
Apparently the film was released birefly in 1994, but when Renee became a breakout star with "Jerry McGuire," in 1996 the producers managed to get a big screen release in 1997 to capitalize on her new fame.
Both Renee and Matt kinda wish that film wasn't on thier resume.

Classic or not, did you know that i's based on a true story? How do you think that these people felt what was happening to them dying such a horrible death? Want to see grusome? Watch the news.

It was inspired and not based on a true story. Nothing like that happened in Texas, it's all made up. There was a crazy guy who killed three women, his name was Ed Gein who wore a mask made out of flesh. The murders happened in Plainfield Wisconsin in the 50's.

Who cares if it's based on a true story. Lots of movies are about true events.
