Default Two Reasons Why I plan to buy "The Electric Company" on DVD for $49.95

1. Bill Cosby

2. Morgan Freeman

I never knew Morgan Freeman was on this show. It will be interesting to see a young Bill cosby and Morgan Freeman on this 1970's PBS Kids Reading show

Anyone else Interested?

The more I thought about it, the more I want it, just because it was a show I watched all the time when I was little. It'll be cool to see those celebs from back then, but I'm mainly interested in it for the show itself.

Well I really want to see a young Morgan Freeman because I just remember him as an old guy since I saw him for the first time in 1989 on Lean On Me. Not old but in his 50's.

I really would not buy the Electric Company on DVD. It was decent when I was a kid. Solomon, I could have told you Morgan Freeman was on that. He had a nappy afro like Bill Cosby. LOL When I first saw Lean On Me, I said, that's the dude from the Electric Company. Of course, he was unknown back then. I also like the Spiderman segments on there.

I used to watch The Electric Company everyday in the desperate hope that they'd show a Spider-Man episode. When they advertised one in the coming attractions teaser for the next show, I was excited.

If they produced a DVD of all the Spider-Man shorts I would buy it.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't he also on Sesame Street back in the day (70s)? I mean Morgan Freeman. I remember him being a sign painter or something?

Just as interested as I want to chew on tin foil while sticking my head in a 450 degree oven.

Right, if Morgan is 68 in 2006, doesn't that mean he was in his 50's in 1989??????????????????????????????????????????????????

For me, buying a piece of my childhood for $50 is worth it. Of course, I would like to find it cheaper, but still, it was an awesome show. I loved it more than Sesame Street.
