This whole series has been a struggle for me to purchase. I finally got the final season (or two) in the mail today.
Now all they need to do is release "Miss Bliss" and re-release the original series, uncut. The new character, Tony Dillon, isn't the best actor. But he's not as bad as I remembered. He's playing the dumb guy and is not trying to be the star of the show. Plus, I've only seen the first and last episodes from this set. So these are like brand new episodes to me. BTW, I ordered it on Amazon and for one of the rare times, I actually got it about a week after I ordered it. I've had trouble in the past ordering something in September and receiving it in April of the next year. |

Congratulations Adam. I'm glad you finally got it. I still don't know why you've had such a hard time with amazon but I know you're happy to finally have the complete series. I finished it a couple of weeks ago. I thought the series finale was one of the best episodes. It actually made me sad watching it, realizing it was all over

I think Katie and Nicky were the only good couple in the later years (as compared to Ryan & Liz, Maria & Tony, or even Nicky & Maria). So it was a nice touch to add the end of their relationship.
It was also nice to Mr. Belding retired. That way "The New Class" is Mr. Belding's final years at Bayside. I remember hearing that Dennis Haskins was leaving. When I watched this episode in it's original run, I thought it was just his last one. I was surprised to see the gang graduate as well. It was then I knew the show wasn't coming back. I wonder what happens to Screech, though. We know the gang is going to college, Belding has a new job. But Screech doesn't say what's happening to him. I assume he's still at Bayside. It would have been a nice touch if they promoted him to Principal. |

Also, now I'll be able to give the last season, it's proper order. So I should have that up soon (around next week).

The show was a lot siller in the last season. I like how Tony fits in with Nicky and Eric. Nicky seems to have replaced Ryan as the leader of the group (for the guys).
What's the episode where they flash back to Screech's first episode? |

In "Party Animals", the gang are idiots! All of a sudden they LOVE beer. Does the group never learn anything, ever!?! I mean I know why the producers are doing this - to teach us the viewer a lesson against beer. But it seems out of character for the gang.
I found a good Tony moment. When the gang is telling Katie that Maria is in the hospital with pnuemonia. Tony says "They may have to remove her lungs. But of course they'll put them back in when they're done." |
