Question Largest sum of money you've ever had at one time??

The largest amount of money Iv'e ever had at one time, was $2,000 dollars. That was about six years ago. The second most I ever had, was about a thousand bucks, and Iv'e had close to that amount several times. What's the most amount of money you've ever had at one given time??

I inherited a good deal of money from my parents four years ago. It was enough to pay off the mortgage on my home, and I haven't worked since.

Also, my husband and I hit the daily lottery for 20 grand back in 1999. That was fantastic even though Uncle Sam took about six or seven thousand.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn Janice!! You wanna come on over here and rub some of that good luck off on me?

Anyway, I'm still young and have spent most of my time in school, and I've only worked a regular retail job before, so the most I've ever had in the bank was probably like $1000, which was really just monetary gifts from when I graduated high school.

When I was single and getting ready to buy my condo 9 yrs ago I had a little over 16K in the bank. I used most of it for the downpayment. Wasn't hard for me to save money since i didn't drink or smoke and rarely went anywhere. I also had been working steadily since i was about 12. Now that I'm married I'm not even sure what we have in our savings together. Most of it is tied up in 401K and IRAs

$60,000. I had received that as a settlement for a work injury. I had received more; I received abt $20 grand in periodic payments up until I closed the case and settled for the $60 grand. I paid off the car I had before, paid alot of bills and put the rest away.

I inherited my father's business when he passed away, so the value of that is $400,000. I had thought abt selling, but decided, for now at least, to keep it as a safety net.

I'm not sure I want to share the total amount of money that I have had in the bank. Since I stopped working and went back to school I have much less then I used to. I have about $14,000 in the bank right now.

My mom inherited $50.000 about 10 years ago when my grandpa's parents died. My grandpa was a simple man, so he gave all the money to her. I was only 14 at the time, so obviously none of it was mine, but that's the most amount of money my immediate family has ever seen.
