DVR's Are SO Cool!

I had all 4 Wisdom teeth pulled today at 9:45 AM. They put me under with an IV. I talked to the nurse before the Surgeon came into the room, and noticed my upper body was strong, and she saw my gut. I told her I lift, and she said that's cool, and she also said her cousin is trying to lift for the olympics. I was like wow.
Then the Surgeon came in. He looked like Scarecrow off Batman Begins. So it was kind of creepy. He told me its going to be a gloomy, day and then he said you will be asleep soon. I got dizzy and said "Yeah I know what you...." BOOM! I was down for the count. When I woke up They wheelchaired me to the car. I was so dizzy beacause I had some Anistesia in me still. Got home, slept for like 2 hours. When I woke up I just watched some DVR'D Boy Meets World, Crumbs, Scrubs, etc. I had novocaine in me when I woke up for like 3 hours. My tounge and bottom lip was all numb. It was weird feeling. Right now thoug, it is wierd. I am not in any pain. I just can't really swallow. But that'll get better in time. Phew, what a day! Chris |

I'm glad it went well! When I had my tooth pulled, I was told not to go to sleep or I would bleed all over the pillow. So when I got home (I was alone) I figured no one would know if I fell asleep. When I woke up, blood alll over my moms couch pillow
Boy was I in trouble lol Glad everything went well!

I remember getting that done...all 4 at the same time too. I woke up not knowing where I was, and I'm not real sure I knew who I was. I ended up crying all the way home.

I just don't know how people handle 4 removed at once! I'm glad it went so well for you though! Wisdom teeth are like my favorite (actually least!) topic lately, and it keeps coming up on message boards! I only developed one wisdom tooth. I'll never get the other 3... I got lucky in that respect. But for almost 2 months I've had nothing but trouble with the one that was pulled 4 days before Christmas. I just had to go back today to the oral surgeon because an abscess keeps lingering. It's so weird, because the surgery went so well for me. But the surgeon said it was a very hard tooth to remove, so I guess that's why I've had lingering problems.
Anyways, that's great it was easy for you. I hope you recover well from it. And hope you got good drugs! lol (Incase you do start to be in pain.) |
