"For One Night" Discussion thread - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Well, i just finished watching it and i thought it was very nice!.

This was definitely NOT a Disney show or Cheetah Girls crap!

More of a teen/grown-up movie with real issues in life.

First of all, raven's acting was very good, though she tried to have that southern accent like the rest of them in the movie, she didnt pull it off that well.

The the rest was good.

The rest of the cast, they were fair. That one guy with the accent really annoyed me.

One thing that really surprised me was the swearing!

Even thought she didnt curse back, she should have! I think everybody is waiting for her to that one day, curse!

. But i guess she cant....yet. Still gotta keep that "Disney Image" i guess.

Even raven was called a B!

I guess i say that because we're so used to seeing her on Disney.

Also, there was just a little sexual overtones in the movie, Her friends talking about Raven and her friend gettin it on! (did any of you see that part?)

I thought the ending was interesting.....about how they went back to seperate proms a year later.

Overall, it was a very good movie. It's good to see Raven in these types of roles because it gives us a break from TSR. I cant wait to see more like this.

So thumbs up!

I watched it, and I completely agree with you. It roked. Raven was great in the part and I hope she does more movies in the future because it was good to see her without her making a fool of herself

I recorded it and saw most of it but I still need to see the rest. From what I saw, it was a great movie. Raven was awesome in it. Very different from disney channel stuff! lol

But, if you have a fast internet connection, you can download the whole movie in 3 parts!
