No, I'm not kidding. According to this nifty article on ESPN.com, NBC acquired the rights to broadcaster Al Michaels by trading ABC (or more specifically, parent company Disney) the rights to Oswald the Rabbit, the cartoon character Walt Disney invented before Mickey Mouse...
I think that's an insult! An announcer of Michaels' caliber is worth, at minimum, Rocky the Flying Squirrel and a Falling Anvil to be Named Later!
