It's Stupid for TV Land not to show this episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't understand why TV Land won't air the episode Herman's Peace Offensive. It is not that violent at all. The only thing I would say is they repeat the line "I'll Kill Him, I'll Kill Him, I'll Kill Him" Do these scenes look that violent to you?

With all the graphic violence in the world, in the news, on other shows, this Munster episode is so harmless. It's funny and it reminds me of when sitcoms were so damn good!!!!!

But TVLand can show comic Paul Mooney on That's what I'm talking abt, say "Whitey watches Wizard of Oz"...?????????????????? "Whitey"???? If someone had said "Blackie" would they have edited that out???

What is up with TVLand? I hate them for their stupid decisions, editing, awards show, and all the other bad crap they do.

I know! They show programs that deal with serious issues like Good Times and All in the Family, what's so harmful about The Munsters??? I don't get it. Goodness, some of their 'Originals' have had worse stuff in them than that!

They've overblown the whole thing, I wouldn't say it was violent. This is one instance you can say, that goodness for the unedited dvd season set.

Ive seen this episode, and its one of my favorites.

Tv Land not showing it is a little ridiculous.

So to this date they have not shown this episode??????

And what was up with TVLand only showing two back to back episodes the other night? Why not show four episodes like they did with Good times and Happy Days? Is Lily Munster not worth four episodes? she was a mother too.

and she was a real good mother. She had to put up with Herman too.

The reason I heard was that Clyde rigged up a locker at work to the overhead light socket to shock Herman. They thought that kids at home might try it... Just what I heard.
