I loved to watch these specials when ABC aired them. It started in 1976 and network stars from different shows on ABC, CBS and NBC participated in various games.

yes i used to watch that all the time what could be more exciting than watching your fave. 70s celebs doing athletic events that they almost no skill in it was campy fun at its best as red forman said in an ep of that 70s show there is nothing more i look forward to every year than watching ed asner try to paddale a canoe

Irene I hope you caught some when they aired on Trio last year. That channel aired a couple of classic shows. I used to love BOTNS when I was a kid. I would always root for the ABC team because that network had all my favorite shows at the time.

Yes I did!!!!! It was so fun watching that. They edited things out, but still, it was fun watching it. Ahhhhh, memories. They should bring that back and have it with the new stars on the three networks, even add FOX!!

I loved watching these as a kid and now, seeing Robert Conrad. I think the celebs were the most "unplugged", especially RC.

Once you get hooked on an actor, you want to see how they are outside of a character and RC did NOT dissappoint!

I remember them, too! I loved watching them as a kid in the '70's!! Didn't it air between Hee Haw & Wonder Woman?? Like, Hee Haw at 7pm, BOTNWS at 8pm, & Wonder Woman at 9pm?? Or is that another show I'm thinking of?? Seems like there was a show dealing with obstacle courses on Saturday nights?? Is BOTNWS what I'm thinking of??
