Default Dee, Dee, Dee

How many of you would have actually stood to have her as a little sister? Well, for me, she would have been interesting to have around, but I don't think that I would have been able to take has smart-ass remarks as patiently as Raj did. What about the rest of you?

Boy! Let me tell you I couldn't put up with Dee like Raj and Mama. I would of been trading wisecracks with her. She would of got slapped in the mouth a few times by a real mama. I like that one episode where she finally got a whoopin' for lying.

When I was little I would spend the summers at each of my grandparents. I have an uncle on my moms side, he's only 9yrs older then me. So I was a smartass to him all the time. I would have long conversations on the phone with a few of his girlfriends telling them about each other LOL, I was 6/7 at the time.

But I don't think that I could've had Dee as a sister, she was a blabber mouth. I don't know why Raj would say something's around her, knowing that she was going to tell Mabel. But you couldn't help but to love her.

Wink I was a combo of Dee and Nellie...

I hate to say this to everyone here, but when I was coming up as a child...
I WAS an interesting combo of Dee Thomas, along with Nellie Oleson (from Little House). I have no regrets, either, believe it or not...

In the sense of Dee, I told it like it was/is and didn't bite my tongue (and to a degree nowadays, I still don't bite my tongue).
And in the sense of Nellie, I dressed like her, wore my hair like her and loved to show off any new items my parents/big brother got me.
Then, when I became 13 or so, I "grew up"...reality struck! LOL

It's all GOOD, though!

Dee represented alot of us...and she did it well. There were always annoying little brats in sitcoms, but Dee was different in that she didn't take no S**T! from anyone. She only respected her mother and feared her at the same time. Let me see, Olsen twins or Dee? I will take Dee anytime. Not even Gary Coleman holds a candle to her.

I can say that I was a smartass when I was little. I think it's because I'm an only child, and I'm use to getting everything I want. When I was little my family use to call me bossy and the boss lady LOL. But I know I had a lot of Dee in me, I'm still the same way today, I don't take crap from anyone.

Cool Dee is forever one of my idols...

No matter what anyone might say/think about this, but Dee will forever be one of my "idols"!
There are 10 years between my older (only) brother and I, in age, and even though we get along very well & keep in touch frequently, it was a given that he was a spoiled soul also, when he was younger...
Just like I was when I came along.

There's nothing wrong with being a brat...LOL, enjoy it just like life itself!

Only Dee could get by on TV. In real life, you know she would of been getting cussed out and getting into a lot of fights as a child. As a teenager she matured though because you can't get by in life being a brat, crooked, forceful and telling people how it is and what it's gonna be. I guess you can get by but not many people will like you. As a child though all those characteristics were cute and funny!

Exclamation Speaking of fights...LOL...

Funny you should mention "getting into fights if Dee were a brat in real life", etc., MsLadySoul!
Because I was just about to mention a rather interesting piece here:

It would've been pretty cool if we could have seen some kind of "rivalry episode" involving Dee versus some other girl, who happened to be either a braggart, an attention-grabber, or even equally bratty...or, ALL OF THE ABOVE, eh?
And then at some point in time, Dee would let it all fly out with everything she could possibly pack! WHAM, BAM, UPSIDE THE HEAD, MAN!!! LOL
It would've been interesting to see Dee match wits with someone, especially if she were competing/vying for Dwayne's attention.
THINK ABOUT IT!

LOL! Cindy I like your scenario! It would of been nice to see someone "out-brat, out-wit, and out-smart" Dee. I think Shirley came close to "telling Dee off" but Dee would always "beat her to the punch."

Cool Thanx!!! I thought...

MsLadySoul, you are right on...about Dee usually (if not ALWAYS) beating someone to the punch when it came down to the verbal-exchange thing...LOL

And oh yeah, I was mainly envisioning a true catfight between Dee and a potential "rival"...ya know, kinda like that cool scenario between Krystle and Alexis on Dynasty back in the day!!! I would have LOVED to see it at least once involving Dee Thomas!
Can't get ENOUGH!!!
