This is a sitcom, set in a small Wisconsin town called Minocqua, starring four thirtysomething friends who were best friends during high school, who after graduation all separated into different directions without contact. Up until now, all four old friends reunite and relocate back into their hometown of Minocqua. Mike, Kurt, Sarah, and Tiffany were "fab four" back in the day, yet their status back then definitely didn't stay with them for long after high school.
After graduation, Mike went off to New York University, of which he become an once-successful entreprenuer of several now-failed business. Mike's self-ran businesses flopped as fast as they became successful. Mike's secret:He ran out on his wife and son and left them to fend for themselves, after his fourth start-up business went south.
After graduation, Kurt went off to UCLA, where he played football and got drafted onto the San Francisco 49ers soon after. Kurt played pro football for 8 years until he blew out both knees (at age 30) and had to retire from professional football. Kurt's secrets: He became addicted to the painkillers (from his injuries) and has gambled away all of his football fortune.
After graduation, Sarah went off to Harvard Law, where she became a lawyer. Once becoming a lawyer, Sarah's life became overpowered by her deep down insecurities and doubts-which deminished her confidence. Sarah's secrets: She successfully embezzled money from her law firm before she quit. Plus she is having an affair with a married man. Sarah's married adulterer boyfriend, Dan is married to Lisa (a girl from their high school class-who was always jealous of Sarah and her friends). Lisa is very much so unaware of her husband and Sarah's five month, on-going affair. After graduation, Tiffany went off to Illoinis State University, where she became a few credits short of graduating and dropped out of college due to lack of money. But while in college, she was a proud Delta Theda Zeta sorority sister. Tiffany's secrets: She worked at a brothel for seven years after dropping out of college. She has had one abortion, three miscarriages, and nine pregnancy scares (but never had even one child of her own). Also, she is a closeted alcoholic.
Now, after being reunited, the four friends reconnect after all the years apart. Slowly but surely each friend will share their painful, dreadful, dark secrets to their three other friends. Watch how these four friends went from high society as popular kids in high school down to rock-bottom in adulthood.
