Not Watchin' The Superbowl? Then Watch...
Here are some other choices rather than the Superbowl: Hallmark Channel: "Little House on the Prairie" marathons and movies starting at Noon and going until 3am TBS: "Yes, Dear" marathon from 4pm until Midnight ABC Family: "Full House" marathon from Noon until 8pm, then "Mrs. Doubtfire" at 8pm, and 2 episodes of "Whose Line?" at 11pm TNT: "Charmed" marathon from Noon until 11pm USA: "Monk" marathon from 4pm until 11pm A&E: "The Shining" at 4:30pm and "Jaws" at 8pm WGN Superstation: "Moesha" marathon from 1pm until 6pm Nickelodeon: "Zoey 101" marathon from 6pm until 9pm CBS: "Criminal Minds", "Cold Case" and "CSI: Miami" from 8pm-11pm NBC: 2 episodes of "Crossing Jordan" and "Law & Order: CI" from 8pm-11pm FOX: 3 episodes of "The Simpsons" and 3 episodes of "Family Guy" from 7pm-10pm The WB: 3 episodes of "Beauty and the Geek" from 7pm-10pm With all these other choices, why watch the football? You can get the point I don't like football.

Remember when TBS had the rights to "The Andy Griffith Show"? During the Super Bowl, they had "8 Great Hours of Andy" marathon. I know they did it once, maybe again the next year, but I'm not sure. And then when N@N had their farewell marathon of "Mister Ed" on during the Super Bowl?
As for USA, this is their second year with a "Monk" marathon. I like it! |

Not to put down football, but it's a big investment of time for something which you have a 50% chance of being upset at the end.
I find it un-satisfying compared to the HIGH of music or the JOY of comedy. |
