Default Mass. Gay Bar Attack Suspect Dies

GASSVILLE, Ark. — A teenager wanted in a hatchet-and-gun attack on patrons of a Massachusetts gay bar died Sunday morning at a Missouri hospital after he was critically wounded in a gun battle with Arkansas police.

Jacob D. Robida, 18, died at 3:38 a.m. Sunday at Cox-South Hospital in Springfield, Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said.

Robida was injured after he shot and killed a small-town police officer in Gassville on Saturday and a West Virginia woman in his car was killed before a shootout at Norfork ended with Robida's arrest, authorities said.

Robida was shot twice in the head and "it doesn't look good right now," Massachusetts prosecutor Paul Walsh Jr. said Saturday.

what a shame.... it would've been nice for that little ****face to go to prison and be bunked with "Bubba"

Reminds me of the old Chris Rock monologue after Mathew Shepard's killers were sentenced to prison, saying that they should've thought twice about beating him, because if they were afraid of being near gay men before, now in prison they're gonna be everybody's bitch, and then everyone in the audience cheered

I kinda agree with that, but this saves us all that money of a trial and the money it would have cost to keep him in prison.

BTW: here is his myspace account: http://www.myspace.com/jakejekyll

Good riddance to him. It's just a shame that two other people had to die.

I agree, I wonder if that was their brother or uncle or something that he killed, that they would be mourning how "misunderstood" he was.

I love it when a lot of my friends wonder why I don't do the "scene" very much (aka gay clubs and bars), incidents like this are precisely the reason. I just hope somebody retaliates by going into one of the skinhead clubs and opening fire on them.

Well now, I think that is a little extreme.

well, gays are always supposed to be made uncomfortable and never allowed a place where we can just be ourselves without hinderence... you never see the Nazi hangouts getting disturbed by people who disagrees with the way they live. Tit-for-tat. And seriously, who the **** still likes ICP (I noticed he was dressed up like a member of ICP)? they were popular around the time that Spice Girls and Hanson were big!!!

Probably because everyone knows the Nazis will kill you without thinking twice.

ICP has been "popular" since the early 90's. They are underground. They were "barely" mainstream for a short while.

Yeah ICP is still fairly popular, not mainstream. They had the gathering of the Juggalos about 15 minutes from me in Nelson, Ohio the last 2 years. I don't know if they are coming back this year or not.
